The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at today's meeting approved the appointment of Oleg Tolmachev as acting CEO of Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC.

In 2022, Ukrgasvydobuvannya, despite the destruction and occupation of some production facilities in the east of the country, maintained stable natural gas production.

Now a taste of war is added to every event. This year, without exaggeration, was the most difficult in the entire history of independent Ukraine. However, despite everything, we continue to work, we continue to produce gas, provide heat to the homes of Ukrainians, and help the military and communities affected by the criminal actions of the terrorist state of russia.

To improve the level of professional training of oil and gas specialists, at the initiative of the Naftogaz Group, we have started updating the requirements for key production professions so that they meet the modern needs of the industry. Such requirements will be set out in professional standards, which will be used by both specialised educational institutions and other companies in the industry.

For the first time in Ukraine, specialists from Ukrgazpromgeofizyka division applied a new technology to perform an extremely complicated geophysical operation.

Due to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, liberating our territories, Ukrgasvydobuvannya has regained control over the drilling rigs that were in the occupied territories for about seven months. Most of them, after repairs, have already resumed drilling in the east of Ukraine.

Employees of JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya have resumed the operation of several surface facilities in the de-occupied territory of Ukraine, and are getting ready for putting another facilities into operation. This will bring to additional increase in production by nearly 500 thousand cubic meters of natural gas per day.

Ukrgasvydobuvannya has put into production a new well drilled in Kharkiv region with a flow rate of more than 140 thousand cubic meters of gas per day.

Ukrburgaz DD, Ukrgasvydobuvannya’s drilling division, in September 2022 drilled a record 30,222 m. Moreover, in September, drillers set a record for daily footage – 1,504 metres.
