Electricians working at the production facilities of our Eastern branches help colleagues from Kharkivoblenergo overcome the consequences of enemy attacks on energy infrastructure facilities.
Our colleagues work overtime. They manage to restore power and repair damaged equipment at the Company's facilities affected by shelling, as well as help repair power lines to residential buildings in one of the districts of the Kharkiv region.
The Company's specialists have been working in this mode since March. It was then that our colleagues first began to restore electricity supplies in the cities and towns of the Kharkiv region because the specialists of Kharkivoblenergo could not reach these settlements due to the partial occupation of the region and continuous shelling.
- Since the beginning of a full-scale war, our repair teams have been working almost around the clock. Often it was necessary to perform work under fire, near the front line itself. During these 9 months, we have repaired about 240 damaged overhead lines in the power system of our production. We also performed numerous repairs of high-voltage lines that provide electricity to one of the districts of the Kharkiv region. Now is the time when all the work needs to be done four times faster than usual. However, in each of our teams, the process is well established, no one is waiting for a command, and everyone knows the sequence of actions and the area of responsibility. Each of us, choosing a peaceful profession, did not think that we would find ourselves in the epicentre of military operations. We are ready to restore the damaged infrastructure as much as necessary. Everything for people, everything for Victory! - Oleh Vaschenko, Head of the Shebelynkagasvydobuvannya Power Supply Department, says.
