In 2022, Ukrgasvydobuvannya, despite the destruction and occupation of some production facilities in the east of the country, maintained stable natural gas production.
Last year, the Company produced 12.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas (sales), which is only 3% less than in 2021.
This result became possible in conditions when hundreds of production facilities and equipment units were shelled, and many fields and hundreds of wells of Ukrgasvydobuvannya were or are still under occupation or near the front line.
"I want to express my boundless gratitude for the opportunity to live and work to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which first contained the enemy and then step by step began to expel it from our land. Hundreds of our colleagues are in the military. And I am no less grateful to the employees of Ukrgasvydobuvannya, who all this time continued in the fields or offices to do their difficult and often dangerous work. Those who fight for every cubic meter in the face of enemy shelling and other force majeure," comments Oleksandr Romanyuk, acting CEO of Ukrgasvydobuvannya.
In 2022 Ukrgasvydobuvannya:
- – Drilled 47 new wells, which is almost equal to last year's figure. At the same time, the company's drillers have set two drilling records for the last at least 15 years: monthly and daily drilling footage.
- – Performed 74 hydraulic fracturing operations, reaching another record - the largest number of operations by in-house fleet per month.
- – Kept the number of other operations at a high level: 191 workover operations, 486 coiled tubing operations, and 2,333 geophysical operations.
- – Equipped 141 wells with artificial lift systems, which is almost twice as much as in 2021.
During the year, Ukrgasvydobuvannya assisted the military and war victims – hundreds of units of special equipment, thousands of tons of fuel, about 16 thousand bulletproof vests and helmets, military uniforms, thermal imagers, medical kits, walkie-talkies, defibrillators, folding beds, generators, sleeping bags, anti-tank "hedgehogs", concrete blocks, stoves, groceries, etc. The total amount of assistance is about UAH 860 million.
