On January 25, 2022, Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC presented the opportunities for cooperation in the format of Production Enhancement Contracts (PEC) to Ukrainian and international companies. As part of the second stage of the project, the company plans to find experienced and reliable partners for the operations management of 35 fields.
Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC raises social security standards for its employees. The company, jointly with the trade union organization, has developed and began implementing an unprecedented voluntary health insurance program for the entire 17-thousandth team.
Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC, a part of the Naftogaz Group, has started pilot operation of a new Bee-UGV software package, specially designed for collecting data from energy metering units (natural gas, liquid hydrocarbons, electricity) and for calculating the amount of natural gas in energy units (kWh).
In 2021, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya applied capillary string technology at 75 wells, which made it possible to intensify gas production from the challenging wells complicated by fluid loading.
In December 2021, Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC provided production of 1.109 bcm of natural gas for Ukrainian consumers (sale gas – excluding in-process consumption). This is 2.6 mmcm of gas more than in the same period last year. Moreover, by the end of December 2021, the company ensured increase in average daily gas production to 38.3 mmcm, which is 0.2 mcmm more than in the same period last year.
Ukrgasvydobuvannya starts the second stage of attracting partners to increase gas production at depleted fields in the PEC format (Production Enhancement Contracts). The company will competitively select partners for the development of 35 fields in Eastern and Central Ukraine.
A new Skydanivska appraisal well with TD of 6,300 m provides production of 200 tcmpd. This field in the Poltava region was discovered by Ukrgasvydobuvannya specialists in 2019.
Natural gas production of JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya for 11 months of this year reached 12.49 bcm Compared to the same period last year, production decline is 4.32% or 0.56 bcm. This is 0.22% less than the level of production decline in January-October 2021.
The new Mospanivske field is located in the Kharkiv region. The first exploration well that discovered the field flows at 239 tcmpd. According to preliminary estimates, the field's resources amount to up to 5 bcm.
