Ukrgasvydobuvannya is implementing a program for the construction of small-sized booster compressor stations (SBCSs) aimed at stabilizing gas production at depleted fields. Thanks to the commissioning of 8 facilities, the company will receive an additional 42 mcm of gas for the next year.

In September 2021 Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC reduced the lag in natural gas production compared to the same period last year. In the first 9 months of this year, the company produced 10.2 bcm of natural gas. Therefore, the production decline in January-September 2021 is 4.8% or 0.517 bcm. This is 0.2% less than the production decline in January-August 2021.

The status of strategic projects implementation to increase the resource base and interim results of 2021 production activities - these topics were discussed by the Naftogaz Exploration and Production Division Expert Counsel, which includes 11 outstanding scientists and practitioners of the gas production in Ukraine.

Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC is starting to apply a new for Ukraine basin modeling and play-based exploration methodics. Based on the 4D dynamic play models analysis the company will predict risks, calculate project economics and make decisions on production plans, in particular on drilling new wells.

Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC has drilled a new exploration well with a depth of 6,200 m at the Kamyshnyanske field in the Poltava region. Daily production indicators are 165 tcm of gas.

Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC, a part of the Naftogaz Group, in January-August 2021 contributed more than UAH 1 billion of rent payments to the local budgets where the company produces hydrocarbons.

In January-July 2021, Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC reduced natural gas production by 5.2% year-on-year, or 0.437 bcm, to 7.9 bcm. The deviation from the output plan is negative 1.6%, or 0.125 bcm.
