In January-June 2021, Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC reduced gas production by 5.3% year-on-year, or by 0.38 bcm, to 6.8 bcm.

At the same time, the gas release* in H1 2021 also shrank by 5.3%, or 0.36 bcm, to 6.4 bcm.

In June, Ukrgasvydobuvannya improved the negative dynamics and produced 1.1 bcm of gas (negative 4.2%, or 49 mcm year-on-year), and released 1.06 bcm of gas (negative 4%, or 44.7 mcm).

In order to stabilise the company's performance, Ukrgasvydobuvannya took a number of steps, among them 4 new wells drilled, 24 workovers of wells, 54 coiled tubing operations, 12 fracking operations, and 6 high-rate wells equipped with the remote monitoring system.
