A meeting with the Company's partners and suppliers was held in Kyiv – Suppliers' Day 2022

More than 260 participants from 150 companies representing 12 countries of the world participated in Suppliers’ Day 2022 – a special event for partners and suppliers held in Kyiv.

The participants of the event heard about the Company's work plans and discussed opportunities for cooperation at thematic round tables.

"Ukrainian gas is extremely important for the country today. To implement our plans, it is critically important for us to have reliable partners and suppliers who are ready to work shoulder-to-shoulder with us to restore and develop gas production in Ukraine. Those who, together with us, will restart and develop supply chains to provide production with the necessary materials and equipment. We hope that Suppliers' Day 2022 will contribute to increasing the number of participants in our tenders, their best results, and further mutually beneficial cooperation," Oleksandr Romanyuk, acting CEO of Ukrgasvydobuvannya, said.

He also added that the fundamental principles by which Ukrgasvydobuvannya builds relations with contractors are openness, competitiveness, transparency, and zero tolerance for any abuse.

"Despite the difficulties, Naftogaz will continue to attract new technologies to Ukraine that will allow increasing domestic production. We continue negotiations with foreign partners and expect them to participate both in projects aimed at improving the efficiency of production at the brownfields, and in our new strategic projects," Oleg Tolmachev, Director of Naftogaz Exploration and Production, said.

This year and next, Ukrgasvydobuvannya plans to increase the scope of works, and the volume of purchases will increase accordingly.

"After the start of a full-scale war, almost all foreign and many Ukrainian companies suspended their activities due to security factors, which significantly narrowed the market for goods and services for the industry. Therefore, we actively search for new suppliers, organise open meetings with the market, explain our needs, and try to consider new conditions, receive feedback, and make changes to our requirements. Importantly, we conduct open competitive purchases, creating equal opportunities for all participants," Oleksandr Nakhod, Director of Logistics and Warehouse Logistics at Ukrgasvydobuvannya, says.

Ukrgasvydobuvannya conducts a systematic dialogue with suppliers. In August and early September, the first thematic round tables were held. These are Suppliers' Meetings, which will be held regularly.
