JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya and BASF (chemical company in Germany) concluded the long-term contract for the supply of package of additives developed specifically for Shebel motor fuel.
The contract will be valid for three years. Meticulous preparatory work on the selection, development, and testing of additives was carried out prior to its signing.
‘JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya has already gained positive experience from cooperation with BASF to improve the low-temperature characteristics of our diesel fuel. At the moment, we have decided to broaden the interactions and have proposed BASF to develop the complex of registered additives specifically for Shebel diesel fuel and gasoline. Our goal is to provide the consumer with premium quality fuel at an adequate price. The total volume of products we manufacture will have characteristics similar to the brands in the top filling station chains. I am confident that the Ukrainian consumer will be satisfied with motor fuel with improved characteristics,’ said Serhii Fedorenko, Director for Commercial Issues at JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya.
‘We are extremely pleased to develop fruitful cooperation between BASF and JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya to improve the operational and environmental properties of the fuel. The use of multifunctional packages of the additives that control formation of deposits in the engine fuel system is a global trend. By creating its own brand of Shebel fuel in cooperation with BASF, JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya took another major step towards the consumer by offering Ukrainian fuel that meets the latest global trends in the fuel market,’ commented on Andreas Lear, CEO of BASF in Ukraine.
