Ukrgasvydobuvannya performs the testing of the hydrate formation inhibitors

JSC “Ukrgasvydobuvannya” (hereinafter - the Company), jointly with the Gas Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, studies the possibility to use inhibitors as an analogue of Grade “A” methanol (technical), which is used at the Company’s facilities to prevent the hydrate formation in the wells.

We invite the inhibitor manufacturers to participate in the research and provide the samples to the office of JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya at the following address: 26/28 Kudriavska Str., Kyiv. The samples will be accepted from 15.07.2018 to 20.07.2018 until 02:45 p.m.

 The sample submission requirements:

  • The samples shall be submitted in the hermetically sealed transparent glass containers;
  • Two 0.5 l samples of the same inhibitor shall be provided. One example shall be sealed and certified with a signature and seal of the Company owning the sample.

The summary testing procedure:

After submitting the samples to the Company’s office, a serial number will be assigned to each sample. One numbered example will be sent to the laboratory; the second one will remain in Ukrgasvydobuvannya until the testing is finished.

In case of a positive conclusion of the laboratory regarding the inhibitor chemical properties, testing of this sample directly at the facilities of JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya will be performed.

We should note as well that the UGV team has taken all measures to ensure the transparency of testing at the Gas Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Therefore, manufacturers/suppliers, in case of providing their inhibitor samples to the Company, undertake to agree with the conclusion of the Gas Institute and waive any complaints about the testing results.
