In the context of stunted development of resource portfolio, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya is looking for the ways to increase natural gas production in existing fields. The Company has launched the sidetracking project in the wells of idling well stock that could not be returned to the producing well stock by other methods.

In January 2019, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya transferred 5 % of rent payments, that is UAH 124 million, to local budgets of different levels in 11 regions where the Company carries out hydrocarbon production.

Ukrgasvydobuvannya as a socially responsible company builds partnership relations with communities in the regions of its activity. For instance, the modern robotics training classes from BroBots IT Hub were opened in two schools in the Kharkiv Region using the funds of Ukrgasvydobuvannya.

Naftogaz Group shares the concern of Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman regarding the progress in the implementation of the Concept of Oil and Gas Industry Development approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in 2016.

In accordance with the current data, Ukrgasvydobuvannya’s production volume in January 2019 reached 1.335 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which is 2.4 % more compared to the same period of 2018, namely by 32 million cubic meters.

​Oleh Prokhorenko, Chairman of the Board of JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya, told the potential investors, leading experts and representatives of the international energy community about the main areas for cooperation with the largest gas production company in Central and Eastern Europe within the Ukrainian Gas E&P Forum held in London on January 29.

JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya actively increases gas production in wells returned after termination of the Joint Activity Agreement (JAA) with Karpatygaz LLC and Misen Enterprises AB by the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce.

​During 12 months of 2018, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya transferred UAH 1.250 billion to local budgets, in the territory of which the Company carries out hydrocarbon production.

​JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya concluded the contract with the Canadian engineering company MWDPlanet for manufacturing and supply of three sets of telemetry systems for controlled directional and horizontal well drilling. The price of the contract is USD 2.4 mln.

​JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya has already received 2.7 billion cubic meters of additional gas production due to 300 hydraulic fracturing (HF) operations during 2.5 years, and the positive effect of operations keeps up.
