In accordance with the current data, Ukrgasvydobuvannya’s production volume in January-February 2019 reached 2.542 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which is 2.6 % more compared to the same period of 2018.

It is worth noting that from the beginning of 2019, UGV has significantly increased the number of production stimulation works and performed 40 HF operations within 2 months, which is 90 % higher than in the same period of the last year.

As Oleksandr Romanyuk, First Deputy Chairman of the Board – Chief Operating Officer, said, Ukrgasvydobuvannya makes significant efforts to increase production in the existing deposits. In particular, the percentage of gas extraction from the remaining reserves in the old UGV deposits is higher than the average if compared to the foreign companies.

But to reach a significant increase in production is possible after adding the deposits which are at the initial and middle development stages with initial pressures to UGV resource portfolio.
