The online DEEP training platform offers future and young specialists of the oil and gas industry free practical and theoretical classes, activities for exchange of experience and knowledge. This is an accessible expert knowledge base from leading Ukrainian and international industry experts.

The presentation of the DEEP educational platform took place on November 25 as part of the 5th International Student Fuel Congress. This event was a continuation of the Eastern European conference on geology and development, which brought together more than 400 specialists from 17 countries to discuss current industry challenges.

DEEP Oil&Gas Knowledge Sharing Platform is a unique educational project for the oil and gas industry, which brings together young, active, caring specialists who strive to develop and change the industry. The first activities based on which the online platform was formed began in March 2020. Since then, the training community has more than 1,000 participants and 50 experts who are willing to share their knowledge and experience both in Ukraine and in the world's largest gas producing companies.

– The idea to create a place that will bring together young and active people who see their future career in the oil and gas industry arose in March 2020, when all of humanity was facing the COVID-19 pandemic. However, quarantine is not a reason to waste time. We shall keep learning  to be successful in the face of change. This is how an online marathon of lectures for students and young professionals interested in the oil and gas business started. Today we are taking our initiative to a qualitatively new level, and we will start 2022 with new training programs and initiatives for  experience exchange, " Mykhailo Bratakh, Head of the Surface Facilities Department of Ukrgasvydobuvannya, initiator of the DEEP online platform, said. 

All educational activities are accessible and open to anyone who wants to build a successful career in the industry and contribute to Ukraine's energy independence. Training is free and is supported by Naftogaz.

We strive to involve  young ambitious professionals in the performance of work, who are ready to work with modern challenges of the industry and get involved in the work on daily basis. DEEP - this is a path to a professional career and self-improvement. With this knowledge, young professionals will be able to be on the same wavelength as the industry and meet its current requirements, " Oksana Redyuk, Head of Personnel Training and Development Department of Ukrgasvydobuvannya, said.

The following activities will be available on the DEEP platform in January 2022:

• - A course of practical classes on working with professional software: Petrel, Reservoir Tank, Eclipse, Petex, PipeSim, Symmetry, Hysys, Gap, etc.;
• - Practical workshops aimed at finding solutions for real-world industry cases;
• - A course of professional lectures on the full cycle of gas production;
• - Speaking club - Industry English for oil and gas professionals.

Moreover, participants will enjoy contests of ideas, meetings with HR specialists, acquaintance with employers and other useful events.
