Director of Gas Preparation and Transportation O. Hordiienko and Head of Mechanical and Energy Department V. Mykytyn were dismissed from Ukrgasvydobuvannya.

It is worth noting that on December 20, the Security Service of Ukraine, the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office conducted procedural actions on suspicion of organizing a corruption scheme.

Oleh Prokhorenko, Chairman of the Board of UGV, stated: “I thank the law enforcement bodies for their active assistance in cleaning up the Company from unscrupulous employees and schemes. We are fighting against this for 3.5 years. I constantly stress to all subordinates that they should work honestly and effectively, we create all relevant conditions. If someone has decided to dishonestly use UGV for unlawful enrichment, such person will be dealt with by law enforcement bodies and may not expect for defense. 

We actively cooperate with the investigative authorities and will take all legal measures to ensure that these persons are punished fairly if their guilt is proved.“
