Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC has launched three high-rate wells with a total daily flow rate of 425 tcm. Two of them are new, the third was re-entered.

"Even despite the war, gas production continues. Ukrgasvydobuvannya drilled two new wells at the brownfield. This is a very good result, which became possible due to a deep analysis of the development and the built 3D model. Such modern approaches allowed launching a total of 10 new wells at the field, the daily production of which exceeded 3 mcm," Oleksiy Chernyshov, head of the Naftogaz Group said.

Another well that has been worked over is operating at the field with almost 30-year history. Before the workover, gas production from it was insignificant. After recompletion to the shallower horizon, the production increased tenfold.

"In the first half of 2023, our company has already commissioned 11 high-rate wells with each well's production exceeding 100 tcm per day. Four of the wells produce over 300 tcm per day. These indicators are gradually bringing us closer to our goal of gas production enhancement. I am grateful to the company's team, which, despite all the difficulties and dangers, makes such results possible," Oleg Tolmachev, acting CEO of Ukrgasvydobuvannya told.
