Within the program for well restoration from an idling well stock to increase production at existing deposits with low formation pressure, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya and Service Oil LLC completed sidetracking works at Mashivka field.

The daily flow of the recovered well after hydraulic fracturing (HF) operation is about 35 thousand cubic meters of gas. The sidetracking works were performed by Service Oil LLC, a subsidiary of RUE “PA ”Belorusneft“, with the involvement of Ukrgaspromgeofizyka Geophysical Division (branch) for carrying out a number of logging research in an open barrel.

It is worth noting that, in the end of February Ukrgasvydobuvannya returned to operation two wells of Chutivka and two wells of Mashivka fields after sidetracking operations. The total daily flow of returned wells is about 120 thousand cubic meters.

It should be noted that additional production from production stimulation operations amounted to 1.1 billion cubic metes of natural gas in 2018. But for a significant increase in the resource portfolio, Ukrgasvydobuvannya should add new deposits that are at the initial and middle stages of development with initial pressures to the resource portfolio.
