One of the current JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya’s (UGV) strategic objectives is intensification of gas production in its mature and depleted gas fields through efficient operations and modern technologies. For this purpose UGV is seeking for cooperation with experienced Oil&Gas companies with relevant experience of production enhancement. UGV is offering cooperation within PEC (Production Enhancement Contract) framework for managing the production in particular gas field group.
Three gas field clusters with relevant ground infrastructure are the subjects of separate contracts, to be operated under PEC services contracts with UGV retaining full ownership of licenses and operated assets.
The prospective UGV partner (-s) will be supposed to run substantial investment program and upstream operations with objective of maximizing the net pay of hydrocarbons under the terms that are beneficial for both parties.
This cooperation format has not yet been applied in Ukraine; therefore, UGV is pioneering new approaches in Ukrainian Oil&Gas market. It is planned to conclude one or several contracts for a period of 15 years with an option of extension for another 10 years.
The existing UGV gas fields were assessed according to the main indicators (current gas production volume, confirmed reserves, depths, drilling IRR, production/reserves ratio, liquid hydrocarbon reserves, etc.) and categorized by statistical methods into more or less homogeneous clusters, among which the ones most applicable for this particular form of cooperation t have been selected.
