JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya, in January-September 2018, paid 882.7 mln UAH to local budgets, in the territory of which the Company carries out hydrocarbon production.

5% of rent payments for September 2018, which is more than 101.7 mln UAH, came to budgets of different levels in 11 regions.

Best part of these funds is concentrated in two gas extraction regions: Kharkiv and Poltava.

Local budgets of different levels in Kharkiv region received 52.5 mln UAH, Poltava region – 41.2 mln UAH, Lviv region – 3.1 mln UAH and Dnipropetrovsk region – 3 mln UAH.

The remaining amount of 1.9 mln UAH of rent payments for September 2018 was sent to Ivano-Frankivsk, Luhansk, Sumy, Volyn, Chernivtsi, Zakarpattya and Donetsk region.

We should remind that in 2016-2018 Ukrgasvydobuvannya received 63 refusals on granting the special permits from the Poltava Regional Council (no approvals).

According to calculation of Ukrgasvydobuvannya, in case of approval of the specified special permits by the Poltava Regional Council, the amount of rent payments to the local budgets of Poltava region would be increased by more than 1 bln UAH by 2020 including. These funds could bring the significant benefits in improving the infrastructure of the region - hospitals, schools, roads etc.
