During January-October 2018, Ukrgasvydobuvannya transferred rent payments amounting to UAH 992 million to the local budgets of communities, where the Company carries out hydrocarbon production.

5 % of rent payment in October 2018, that is more than UAH 109.4, was transferred to different budgets in 11 regions.

Most of these monetary funds are concentrated in two gas production regions: Kharkiv and Poltava.

Thus, UAH 56 million were directed to different local budgets in the Kharkiv Region, UAH 44.9 million in the Poltava Region, UAH 3.4 million in the Lviv Region and UAH 3.2 million in the Dnipropetrovsk Region.

The remaining UAH 1.9 million of rent payments for October 2018 were transferred to the Ivano-Frankivsk, Luhansk, Sumy, Volyn, Chernivtsi, Zakarpattia and Donetsk Regions.

Please note that the implementation of the production plan amounting to approximately 5 billion cubic meters of gas before the end of 2020 depends on the development of new resource portfolio. But Ukrgasvydobuvannya continue receiving refusals to approve providing special permits for new fields from the Poltava Regional Council.

As a result, the Poltava regional budgets will receive over UAH 1 billion of rent payments less before the end of 2020. These funds could be considerably useful for improvement of regional infrastructure (hospitals, schools, roads etc.).
