In January 2021, Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC allocated more than UAH 115.9 million of rent payments to the local budgets

In January 2021, Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC, a member of the Naftogaz group, sent UAH 115.9 million of rent payments to local budgets of the regions where the company produces hydrocarbons.

In general, the consolidated budget of the country will receive about 2.3 billion UAH of rent payments from Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC in January 2021.

5% of rent payments – 115.9 million UAH, will be transferred to the budgets of various levels of 12 regions.

About 90% of these funds are concentrated in two gas producing regions: Kharkiv and Poltava.

In general, royalty funds are distributed among the regions as follows:

  • - Kharkiv region – UAH 55.7 million
  • - Poltava region – UAH 50.3 million
  • - Lviv region –  UAH 5.2 million
  • - Dnipropetrovsk region –  UAH 2 million
  • - Others – 2.7 million UAH
