At the initiative of JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya, the land plots were alienated for the needs of the oil and gas industry for the first time in Ukraine. 

In order to increase natural gas production, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya initiated the redemption of land plots to locate a drilling site, access to which was blocked for three years.

The Company, maintaining a socially-oriented approach to relations with the stakeholders, assumed the responsibility to compensate owners and land user for economic benefits.

Taking into account the public need for achieving energy independence and energy security, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya, in cooperation with the Mashivskyi District State Administration of Poltava Region demonstrated a vivid example of fruitful cooperation that led to a positive result.

As a result, the Company will perform the necessary works, the Mashivka community obtained additional land plots, and landowners – fair value of their plots. Instead, the community will receive additional funds in the form of rent accruals for the extracted hydrocarbons for the implementation of social and infrastructure projects.
