In exploring a way forward for import substitution, the delegation of JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya familiarized with the production facilities of State Enterprise ‘Zorya-Mashproekt’, one of the largest national producers of gas turbine equipment.
The group of technical experts and Nelly Stelmakh, Head of Material Supply and Procurement Department, joined the delegation headed by Oleksandr Hordiyenko, Director for Gas Treatment and Transportation. During the meeting, the proposals of State Enterprise ‘Zorya-Mashproekt’ on replacement of gas turbine engines that have been in operation at JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya since 1970s and have been purchased from enterprises of the Russian Federation were reviewed. The delegation visited mechanical assembly workshops, gear production facilities, metallurgical complex of the enterprise, test station, as well as assembling facilities, where they familiarized with the finished products of the company.
JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya expressed interest in upgrading the production facilities, considering that outdated equipment needs major repairs that can only be carried in the Russian Federation.

State Enterprise ‘Zorya-Mashproekt’ (research and production complex that specializes in a gas turbine construction) is the Ukrainian developer and manufacturer of gas turbines for marine and general purpose industrial applications. The company has been operating since 1950s and belongs to State Enterprise ‘Ukroboronprom’. Over the past few years, the enterprise has been upgrading its production facilities. The products of Zorya-Mashproekt comply with the environmental regulations of the European Union.
