The synergy of Alfa Shchyt LLC, and Security Service of PJSC UkrGasVydobuvannya in Poltava region has found a 28 m3 metal container filled with natural gas liquid 5 km away from condensate pipelines.
This fact was reported to the regional police authority.
It is worth noting that in the first quarter of 2018, due to the constant improvement of the methods of discovering unauthorized tie-in into its condensate pipelines, PJSC UkrGasVydobuvannya has halved the loss of hydrocarbons, compared with the same period in 2017.
It is worth mentioning that the majority of tie-ins were detected by private security structures, with which PJSC UkrGasVydobuvannya entered into agreements as a results of tender bids with the help of Prozorro electronic system.
Despite the revealed thefts of hydrocarbons, PJSC UkrGasVydobuvannya draws the attention of law enforcement agencies of Ukraine to the existing problem, because in practice thieves often manage to get away with punishment.
