JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya completed eight stages of hydraulic fracturing (HF) at Lannivsky field well using its fleet. As a result of the operation, the deposit reserves were confirmed, and the daily well flow rate increased more than 60 times.
In conditions of the low hydrocarbon inflows from the Lannivsky field formations, the new well drilling was cost-ineffective. The projected production of such wells was small with high financial costs. To use the additional layers in the development and to increase the economic attractiveness of the drilling projects, the company has planned the intensification work program. The hydraulic fracturing completion after drilling at the Lannivsky field allowed not only to increase the hydrocarbon production efficiency but also to confirm the deposit reserves.
"To effectively extract the residual gas reserves at the empty fields, we continue to implement the hydraulic fracturing program. After modernizing its fleet and increasing its competencies, UGV-Service specialists have mastered the multi-stage HF technology, which is already successfully applied to UGV wells. It is an international service company level. With meticulous planning such operations produce maximum results at minimum cost". said Alexei Nesterenko, Director of Production.
After the candidate, well analysis by the HPP department, the calculation of the projected effect and the injection program of the appropriate reagent, UGV-Service division team completed 8 HPP stages for two weeks. Before starting the works, the daily well flow rate was 1.5 thousand m3. The careful preparation, calculation accuracy, work planning, uninterrupted operation of the equipment complex and smooth work of the team made it possible to complete all stages without interruption to additional preparation operations. After the completive works, well exploration and connection to the sophisticated gas treatment unit, the well flow rate was 95 thousand m3 per day.
Since the start of 2019, its service division has completed 22 operations in the Eastern Region. After the conducted operations, the average daily well flow rate increased by six times. One of the latest results is the increase in the well flow rate of Leventzivske field from 5.2 to 40 thousand m3 per day.
