In August  2017 PJSC "Ukrgazvydobuvannya" has increased natural gas production by 7% compared to August 2016 (by 87 million cubic meters) - up to 1.3 billion cubic meters.

For eight months of 2017, natural gas production amounted to 10 079 million cubic meters., which by 343 million cubic meters (or 3,5%) exceeds the figures of the same period of last year. At the same time, it is more than four times the amount of extraction growth for the whole 2016 year.

The necessary prerequisites for the implementation of the 20/20 Program are the improvement of the legislation regulating land issues, the introduction of transparent procedures for granting and prolonging licenses, the favourable tax regime, and the elimination of political interference in the work of enterprises of the oil and gas complex.
