In cooperation with the State Ecological Inspection of Ukraine, the employees of Environmental Protection, Ecological and Radiation Safety Department of PJSC UkrGasVydobuvannya and associated specialists of all the company subsidiaries participated in a series of training events.

The trainings were held at the State Ecological Inspection of Ukraine, which is responsible for the state supervision over the company activities in the field of environmental protection, efficient use, reproduction and defence of natural resources. The State Inspection specialists provided to the training participants the overview of critical regulatory and legislative changes aimed at preventing pollution and contamination of land plots, drilling sites, excessive emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere; compliance with the authorizations for special water use, environmental legislation regarding procedure for environmental impact assessment, requirements for subsoil use; waste management during the production activities of business entities, in particular, drilling waste, and etc.

During the training, PJSC UkrGasVydobuvannya employees received specific responses on critical questions regarding obtaining authorizations for special water use, the need for monitoring emissions into the atmosphere, pollution of land plots, drilling sites, and etc.

– Our strategy is to be one step ahead of the official requirements through compliance with the active environmental protection management system and continuous improvement of environmental standards, – noted Oleksandr Posmitnyi, Deputy Head of Environmental Protection, Ecological and Radiation Safety Department of PJSC UkrGasVydobuvannya.
