One of the main environmental priorities of JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya - efficient waste drilling treatment.

To implement the drilling waste disposal projects, the Company created the workgroup, consisting of the representatives of the Department of land relations, Drilling division and UkrNDIGas. Currently, the intensive works on the selection of technology and the most optimum method of the drilling waste disposal, ensuring the drilling waste quality treatment for further safe use, are being performed. By means of modern technologies the Company will reduce the use of water resources during well drilling. At the same time, the safe dry drill residue is planned to be reused in other manufacturing spheres as a recycled resource.

JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya also developed the medium-term plan for the sumpless drilling taking into account the following criteria:

- natural conditions of the location of the drilling site;

- technologies of waste management;

- ensuring the organization of control over the drilling waste purification processes;

- measures to improve the culture of work on the ground.

Today, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya conducts the negotiations with companies that provide for the services and manufacture the drilling waste purification equipment. By the end of 2018, a number of meetings with representatives of such enterprises are planned in order to establish the possibility of these technologies in the activities of the Company.

Project implementation will ensure implementation of modern technologies and application of innovative equipment for the purpose of drilling waste purification, increasing the culture of production, mitigating the negative impact on the environment, thus promoting the development of partnership with the interested parties.
