Oleksandr Oleksenko, who has more than 25 years of experience in the energy and financial sectors, has been appointed as the director of Poltavagasvydobuvannya Gas Production Division.
"Oleksandr has considerable experience in reforming and effectively managing the large energy companies. He is an experienced leader who has proved time and again his principled stance regarding the struggle against the inefficiency and abusive activities. These are the skills and qualities we require today when Poltavagasvydobuvannya is faced with the complex tasks of maintaining and increasing the production volumes, increasing the economic efficiency of the division work,” said Andrew Favorov, Director of Integrated Gas Business Division.
Earlier, Oleksandr held the management positions at the energy companies Poltavaoblenergo, Poltavateploenergo. He got the technical education at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics and graduated from the Higher School of International Business at the Kharkiv National University of Economics.

We will face the strong challenges in 2020, such as the capital-intensive designs to modernize the outdated infrastructure, optimize the existing well stock, geologic exploration activities and new drilling. I'm convinced that by combining the experience and expertise, we will carry out the tasks facing Ukrgasvydobuvannya, gas industry,” added Oleksandr Oleksenko.
From September 2019 to January 2020, the acting director was Vladimir Tkachenko, who held the position of the first deputy director of Poltavagasvydobuvannya. Earlier, from September 2018 to September 2019, the director of the branch was Yevhen Palyenka, who was appointed as the financial director of Ukrgasvydobuvannya.

Poltavagasvydobuvannya Gas Production Division is one of the leading production enterprises that produce natural gas in Poltava, Kharkiv, Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk regions. According to the results of 2019, the division increased the commercial gas volumes to 5.48 billion m3 of the natural gas volumes, which is 35 million m3 more than the same period of the last year.
The branch develops 42 hydrocarbon deposits in the eastern and central parts of Ukraine. The performance stock of division is 743 wells. The gas production division includes 49 production facilities.
