“Our company is a reliable partner of the regions in which we conduct our production activities. It is essential for us to support the communities in the territories of our presence. I am glad that other representatives of socially responsible business join us in our efforts. Although we have different areas of focus, we are ready to combine efforts to implement joint social projects at the local level. Today, we are starting our joint work with Kernel in the Poltava region,” said Viacheslav Chaus, Deputy General Director of JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya for Land and Social Affairs.
“Kernel systematically supports the communities in the regions where the company operates. We help communities develop infrastructure, take care of children's comfort in schools and their leisure activities. I appreciate companies with the same socially responsible attitudes willing to make a difference. Our first joint project within the framework of the Memorandum was the next step of the business towards raising the living standards of Ukrainian communities. We hope it will contribute to improving the quality of physical education of children, as well as their motivation for extracurricular sports activities. This is the first, albeit small, but very important step in our interaction,” said Igor Pototskyi, Deputy Director of Kernel Agricultural Business for Land Bank Management.
Ukrgasvydobuvannya operates in 12 regions of Ukraine, over 230 communities. The company systematically participates in their development both with its own resources and together with partners.
Following the corporate social responsibility policy, the company is focused on achieving 3 goals of sustainable development, which were chosen as the most priority ones. These are ensuring sustainable development of cities and communities, quality education and sound health and well-being.
