The first experience was successful, and we are looking forward to the transparency and openness of the current competitions. Our joint application uniqueness lies in the combination of the best Ukrainian practices and modern Western approaches that Vermilion can bring. We have common values and common goals – to discover new fields, implement unique projects in Ukraine, bring it closer to energy independence", concluded Andrew Favorov, Director for Integrated Gas Business Division at NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.

Ukrgasvydobuvannya will have the pre-emptive right to provide its services and execute works for Vermilion, in particular drilling rigs and other services, subject to conformity with industry standards and competitiveness. The partners will undertake significant obligations to involve Ukrainian specialists.
