In 2018, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya produced 15.496 billion cubic meters of natural gas and reached its record level for the last 25 years.

During January-December 2018, the natural decline in production of about 950 million  cubic meters has been covered, while the annual production of 2017 has been exceeded by 246 million cubic meters.

It is worth noting that in December, Ukrgasvydobuvannya consolidated its average daily production at the level of 43.7 million cubic meters, which exceeds by 1.3 million cubic meters the production for the same period in 2017.

This result was achieved due to maximization of efforts in all operation areas, in particular, by increasing the number of activities in production stimulation up to 744. In addition, since the beginning of this year, 97 wells have been drilled and 69 new wells have been put into operation.

Ukrgasvydobuvannya has effectively managed its available hydrocarbon resource portfolio, however, the majority of fields which produce 95 % of gas, are exhausted by 87 %.
