The Shebelynka Oil Refinary Plant (Šhebel), a part of the Oil Division of the Naftogaz Group, increased feedstock processing by 6.8% to 236,000 tonnes in January-June 2021.
At the same time, the manufacture of the Šhebel 95 petrol boosted by 83.8% to 24,000 tonnes. The plant also increased the manufacture of the diesel fuel by 11.5% to 42,000 tonnes while the manufacture of the liquefied petroleum gas Šhebel LPG went up by 0.06% to 73,000 tonnes.
The total fuel sales through the own network of U.GO petrol stations increased by 7.7% to 8,300 tonnes. In particular, the Šhebel 95 sales boosted by 49.6% to 1,700 tonnes while the sales of the Šhebel diesel fuel went up by 42.5% to 764 tonnes.

The Shebelynka Oil Refinary Plant (Šhebel) is one of the two operating oil processing plants in Ukraine. Its capacities reach around 500,000 tonnes of raw material processing per year. The plant started its operation in 1960. In 2015-2018, it went through the biggest in 20 years refurbishment which made it possible to shift to the production of Euro 5 standard products alone. The fuel produced by the Shebelynka OPP is sold in the market under the trade brand Šhebel since 2018. The product line includes Šhebel 92 and Šhebel 95 petrol, Šhebel DP diesel fuel, and Šhebel LPG liquefied gas. The Šhebel fuel can be purchased in the Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava and Sumy regions, as well as in the Government-controlled areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
