In the morning of June 2, the employees of Shebelynka Gas Processing Plant (GPP) located in Andriivka, Kharkiv Region, revealed the fact of ignition of a container with a petrochemical substance in the volume of 20 cubic meters.

The automatic fire extinguishing system was activated properly, fire was promptly brought under control and completely eliminated by own operational brigades and units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv Region.

None of the employees of the plant was injured. The plant operates as usual.

The commission has been formed to investigate the causes of fire.

The amount of damage caused by fire is being determined.
