On June 22, Andrew Favorov, Director for Integrated Gas Business Division of Naftogaz of Ukraine, presented an updated strategy for hydrocarbon exploration and production and informed the industry experts and media representatives about the results of production at depleted fields.

JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya, in January-June 2019, paid UAH 726.58 mln to local budgets, in the territory of which the Company carries out hydrocarbon production.

​JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya increased extraction of raw materials for processing (oil and gas condensate) by 9 thousand tons (or 4%) in H1 2019 compared to the same period of 2018.

​In accordance with the current data, volumes of commercial gas produced by JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya amounted to 6.81 billion cubic meters of natural gas in January-June 2019, which is 50 million cubic meters more compared to H1 2018.

​JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya continues the active geological exploration works under the effective licenses, having discovered an oil deposit in the Kharkiv Region and a gas condensate deposit in the Poltava Region.

JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya, in January-May 2019, paid UAH 603.6 mln to local budgets, in the territory of which the Company carries out hydrocarbon production.

​At the initiative of JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya, the land plots were alienated for the needs of the oil and gas industry for the first time in Ukraine.

​Following the qualification results, 4 oil and gas companies were allowed to participate in the tender for conclusion Production Enhancement Contract (PEC) in two gas field groups (clusters) in the Western region.

At night of June 12, the representatives of the National Police in the Poltava Region and Alfa-Shchyt LLC revealed theft of hydrocarbon raw materials during the inspection of the condensate pipelines of the Company.

As part of ongoing actions to improve the occupational health and safety (OHS) management system, which applies to all parties involved in the production processes of the Company, JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya opened a telephone line to inform about the identified hazards at production facilities.
