Despite unfavorable market conditions, the Upstream Division of Naftogaz continues to implement a stimulation program to maintain production at depleted fields.

The Upstream Division of Naftogaz continues to maintain hydrocarbon production performance even under limited financial resources due to falling gas prices and the coronavirus pandemic. In the first half of 2020, the company produced 6.76 bcm of natural gas which was supplied to the population and district heating providers.

Naftogaz Group has appointed Maksym Vityk, who has more than 20 years of experience in the world's largest oil and gas companies, as Director for Strategic Projects of the Upstream Division.
