In the Poltava Ukrburgaz Drilling Directorate on October 9 at 04:10 there was an accident, as a result of which a floorhand died. The occurence took place outside of business hours at a site for preparing a drilling rig for rig-up at the well No. 28 of the Kamyshnyanske GCF.

Now an internal investigation is underway, the Local Department of the State Labor Service of Ukraine in the Poltava region is creating a commission to investigate the accident in accordance with the requirements of the Procedure for investigating and recording accidents, occupational diseases and accidents at work, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 337 dated April 17, 2019, as well as the National Police of Ukraine. The results of the investigation will be announced later.

The company asks the media to refrain from assessing this tragic case until they receive official findings of the investigation.
