Crosco Integrated Drilling & Well Services Ltd (Croatia) started drilling 3 new wells in Poltava region under the contracts with PJSC UkrGasVydobuvannya which were concluded in 2017 following appropriate auction held on Prozorro.
This is the first project being implemented by the foreign contractor with cutting-edge drilling equipment and international drilling practices that the largest gas production company of Ukraine has ever had.
Cooperation of PJSC UkrGasVydobuvannya and Crosco provides for the drilling of 12 wells. The total cost of operations is EUR 47 million.
Crosco has already completed drilling 2 wells at Yablunivka field and started drilling 2 new ones at the same field. Crosco started drilling of the first well at Lannivsk gas condensate field.
According to Mykhailo Paduchak, Head of Drilling Department (UGV), this project reflects dramatic transformation of the organizational processes related to the well drilling in the company aimed at expediting the drilling process and increasing the production by drilling new wells. In addition to Crosco (drilling contractor), the company has attracted more than 20 local and international service contractors, which has a strong positive impact on qualitative growth of the Ukrainian oilfield service market, contributes to the job creation, as also development of the oil and gas infrastructure in the regions where the operations are carried out.

The company has its own fleet of 11 drilling rigs, 17 well workover rigs and other equipment. Moreover, Crosco is an absolute owner of Rotary Drilling Company Limited (Hungary), the drilling fleet of which incorporates 5 drilling rigs, and provides for repairs and other maintenance of the wells.
