Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC enhances social security standards for its employees. The Company, together with the trade union organisation, has developed and commenced an unprecedented voluntary health insurance program for the entire 17-thousandth team.
The program applies to all employees without exception, regardless of the division and position held. At the same time, the list of services provided by the insurance company is the same for everyone. It includes extensive opportunities for outpatient and inpatient treatment, emergency medical care, medical support, preventive examinations, etc.
Employees of Ukrgasvydobuvannya will be able to choose where to receive medical services as over 600 medical institutions throughout Ukraine are available under the program. All costs for medical services under the program will be covered by the Company, and they will be free for employees.
Ukrgasvydobuvannya's insurance program is unique for the corporate sector of Ukraine for several reasons. The number of employees simultaneously insured by the Company is one of the largest in the country. The same insurance terms apply to everyone, without any preferences for managers. The services covered allow not only efficiently treating a wide range of diseases but, first of all, preventing them. The Coronavirus pandemic has prompted us to pay even more attention to the health of employees. At the same time, the new insurance program is only one of the elements of the social policy implemented by Ukrgasvydobuvannya to create safe and comfortable working conditions," Olena Kobets, General Director of Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC, said.
Company employees will be able to take advantage of the program's benefits starting February 1 this year. Now, applications are being collected, because health insurance is voluntary.
In addition to insurance, according to the collective agreement, Ukrgasvydobuvannya provides a number of other benefits aimed at preserving and improving the health of employees. In particular, the Company has created all the necessary conditions to counteract the pandemic.
"In a difficult situation on the gas market, in the context of an ongoing pandemic, we manage not to change our focus on the welfare of the employees of the Naftogaz Group and find mechanisms for funding of such important projects as health insurance. I greet Ukrgasvydobuvannya on the launch of a new, truly outstanding project, primarily created for on-site employees. Preserving the health of those who work in the field and produce gas is our first priority," Olena Boychenko, Member of the Board, Director for Human Resources and Social Policy in the Naftogaz Group, added.
