UOP (USA) expressed its gratitude to UGV for the first time in the world commercal introduction of its new catalyst

UOP (USA) expressed its gratitude to UGV for the first time in the world commercal introduction of its new catalyst HYT-4118, which was installed at Shebelynka Gas Processing Plant in 2017.

Michael Cleveland, Regional Director at UOP, presented memorable awards and commemorative certificates in the head office of JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya in Kyiv on May 29. UOP representatives noted that the project implemented at Shebelynka Gas Processing Plant is important for the company in the field of development and promotion of new technologies.

“In 2017, JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya has carried out large scale renovation over the past 10 years at Shebelynka Gas Processing Plant, which produces motor fuel of European quality. We are very pleased that such companies as UOP enter the Ukrainian market. After all, one of the missions of our Company is to be the driver of the Ukrainian oil and gas industry,” said Oleh Prokhorenko, Chairman of the Board at JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya.  

In turn, Serhii Fedorenko, Director for Commercial Issues at JSC UkrGasVydobuvannya emphasized that the company plans to further deepen the processing of oil products and increase its production volumes.

“In 2018, UGV entered the Ukrainian market of oil products with the new brand – Shebel. We are actively expanding our partnership circle and constantly receiving positive feedbacks on our oil products from the consumers. The company thanks UOP for quality equipment, which, of course, contributes to maintaining the highest quality of our product,” said Serhii Fedorenko.

The meeting attendees discussed further cooperation aimed at improving operational efficiency of ТМ Shebel fuel production.

The catalyst HYT-4118 has been used at the diesel fuel hydrotreatment plant during the repair campaign at Shebelynka Gas Processing Plant for production of ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel.
