UGV has signed contract with Bentec GmbH Drilling & Oilfield Systems to supply five drilling rigs to the amount of 110 mln USD

According to contract, each drilling rig’s loading capacity is 450 tonnes.

The supplier of the rigs was selected after conducting a reverse two-stage auction among the world class producers.

Oleg Prokhorenko, CEO of UGV commented, “This tender is a vivid evidence that UGV and the Naftogaz Group have managed to build a high-quality and transparent procurement system that allows buying the best equipment while maintaining the fierce competition of the world industry leaders. Also, this purchase, crucial for our companies, was made possible thanks to the coordinated work of technical specialists of UGV”.

The tender participants included world-class manufacturers such as National Oilwell Varco, Inc. (США) and Drillmec SpA (Італія).

The first drilling rig will be delivered 9 months after concluding the contract.
