The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the “Bank” or “EBRD”) has approved financing for a project to support to JSC “Ukrgasvydobuvannya” (the “Company”).

JSC “Ukrgasvydobuvannya” is a subsidiary of a state-owned National Joint-stock company "Naftogaz of Ukraine". UGV is the largest strategic enterprise of Ukraine and the country's leading natural gas producer, accounting for 70% of the nation's gas production. It is a vertically integrated company with a complete production cycle: from exploration of gas and gas condensate reserves, field development, transportation, gas processing and condensate and oil refining to sales.

For this purpose, the Company is planning to purchase ten Mobile Drilling Rigs (5 sets of 125T and 5 sets of 180T). The procurement will be carried out in accordance with the EBRD’s Procurement Policies and Rules.

In close cooperation with the Bank, the Company is carrying out market consultations with prospective manufacturers and suppliers of the required equipment to develop an optimal procurement and implementation strategy(ies) for the Project. The main purpose of the event is to assess the immediate and prospective product availability and test the risk appetite of the market in the context of the current situation in Ukraine. The event will give the opportunity to interested companies to provide feedback and voice any concerns they may have.

All procurement for the Project shall be subject to the provisions of the EBRD Procurement Policies and Rules (Rev. May 2022, https://www.ebrd.com/procurement/project-procurement/policies-guidelines.html).
